The team, strapped for salary cap space this year, has been deliberate in its plan of attack, but has been able to bring in several players who can contribute this year, signing most to one-year contracts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">A 2023 fifth-round pick out of Georgia, Beal has spent three seasons with the San Francisco 49ers. His rookie season was shortened, in part by a stint on injured reserve, but he appeared in 14 games in his second season. Last year, Beal bounced back and forth between the 49ers\u2019 active roster and the practice squad.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">He has played in 25 games in his three seasons in San Francisco, tallying 36 tackles and a sack.
