{"id":191239,"date":"2026-03-14T07:24:10","date_gmt":"2026-03-14T07:24:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/191239\/"},"modified":"2026-03-14T07:24:10","modified_gmt":"2026-03-14T07:24:10","slug":"miami-swat-raids-shop-and-finds-200-pounds-of-drugs-after-undercover-buy-police","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/191239\/","title":{"rendered":"Miami SWAT raids shop and finds 200 pounds of drugs after undercover buy: police"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">A Miami smoke shop was descended upon by Miami police\u2019s heavily-armed SWAT team with high-powered rifles Thursday to serve warrants on a business stashing over 200 pounds of narcotics \u2014 one man was arrested after he sold an officer drugs, authorities say.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Andrey Lopez is facing eight charges related to selling, possessing and delivering drugs, including marijuana, psilocybin and an opioid, his arrest report read.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Around noon, a Miami undercover agent walked into Ark Smoke Shop, 2227 Biscayne Boulevard, and bought 72.7 grams of psilocybin and 14.6 grams of marijuana, police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Later that day, a full search warrant was executed by Miami\u2019s SWAT on the business. A bystander took video, which OnlyInDade posted on social media showing officers in full gear.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Detectives discovered a large stash of drugs in the building, including:<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">63.5 pounds of pre-rolls of suspected marijuana<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">96.9 pounds of weed-infused edibles<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">106.9 pounds of vape pens\/cartridges<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">45.8 pounds of psilocybin-infused edibles<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">37 pounds of weed-infused beverages<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">11.2 pounds of 7-OH, an opioid<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Lopez is accused of having the drugs and selling them, but it is unclear if he runs the smoke shop.
