The Teaching Academies Dual Enrollment Program<\/a> is a partnership between MDC\u2019s School of Education and Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) and provides educational experiences and knowledge to high school students interested in teaching careers. The MOU will allow Teaching Academy students to engage in hands-on clinical experiences in JA Miami\u2019s partner classrooms, teaching financial literacy to K-5 public school students. Students will gain critical classroom experience while delivering meaningful instruction to young learners across the district.<\/p>\n\u201cWe are thrilled to partner with Miami Dade College to expand opportunities for both future teachers and our beneficiaries at Miami\u2019s public schools. We love to see this continuum between students, from learning about financial literacy as a K-12 student to teaching it in college and beyond.
