Trooper says car became engulfed in flames<\/p>\n

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla \u2013 A driver was killed after a crash Friday night on Epcot Center Drive, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.<\/p>\n
Troopers said a 2023 Hyundai Elantra was traveling northbound on Epcot Center Drive north of Overpass Road when the driver was going above the posted speed limit and could not successfully steer through the curve.<\/p>\n
The car ran off the roadway to the northwest and hit a tree, FHP said. The impact caused the vehicle to become fully engulfed in flames.<\/p>\n
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The medical examiner\u2019s office will contact FHP once the driver has been identified.<\/p>\n
The crash remains under investigation.<\/p>\n
