Pinellas County<\/a> Sheriff’s Office after conducting a weekend-long operation in the area, targeting impaired drivers in roadways.<\/p>\nSunday, deputies with PCSO said that, with the help of multiple local police agencies, as well as the Florida Highway Patrol, they conducted the DUI Wolf Pack Operation, which began at 7 p.m. on Saturday and ended at 5 a.m. on Sunday.<\/p>\n
As a result, deputies say they issued 34 criminal charges, including:<\/p>\n
DUI: 25Felony drug charges: 1Arrest for driving while license is suspended or revoked: 2Other misdemeanor arrests: 1Warrant arrest: 1 <\/p>\n
Deputies also shared numbers of the citations they issues, which totalled 130 and include:<\/p>\n
Driving while license suspended or revoked: 11No insurance: 2Speeding tickets: 38Seat belt: 3Driver’s license restriction: 2Open container: 1Non-moving violations: 22Moving violations: 26DUI citations: 25 <\/p>\n
According to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, Largo Police Department, Pinellas Park Police Department, Indian Shores Police Department, Tarpon Springs Police Department, Kenneth City Police Department, Gulfport Police Department and Clearwater Police Department participated in the operation.<\/p>\n
