TALLAHASSEE, Fla.\u00a0\u2013 Florida Atlantic men’s golf (+16) is in eighth place after one day at the Seminole Intercollegiate hosted by Florida State. Originally scheduled for 18 holes per day and culminating in the final round on Tuesday, the start of round two was moved up to Sunday afternoon due to impending weather headed for Tallahassee on Monday. The field completed about half of round two before darkness suspended play.<\/p>\n

On the same course where he competed in last year’s NCAA Regional,\u00a0NaShawn Tyson<\/a>\u00a0led the Owls in round one with a 73 (+1).Louka Morin<\/a>\u00a0got off to a slow start in round one, bogeying his first four holes, but the freshman settled in and played the last 14 holes in -1, including four birdies, on the way to a 75.Morin has four holes left to play in round two, while Tyson has seven holes left.
