TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Ahead of St. Patrick\u2019s Day, families came out to The Hub at Feather Oaks for an Irish celebration Sunday.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is probably one of my favorite holidays out of all of them,\u201d Co-Owner Evan Carruthers said. \u201cWe go all out with the green beer.\u201d <\/p>\n
The day featured live music from the Dram O\u2019Day Band and performances by the Tally Irish Step Dancers.<\/p>\n
Carruthers said their goal is to celebrate with the community, while supporting other local organizations. \u201cI always like to try to have four or five local beers on. We\u2019ve got the local Irish step dancers, local music,\u201d Carruthers said. \u201cIt\u2019s a great feeling.\u201d <\/p>\n
There were also face paintings and games for kids. Carruthers said the Irish holiday always brings a great crowd to The Hub. \u201cJust a great St. Patrick\u2019s Day atmosphere,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n
This is the third year of the St. Patrick\u2019s Day celebration at The Hub, and Carruthers said they look forward to continuing the event each year. <\/p>\n
