Mark Sprague\u2019s career in aviation spans 25 years, including flying as an airline transport pilot for both Comair and Spirit airlines.<\/p>\n
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. \u2014 Pinellas County has appointed Mark Sprague as the new director of St. Pete\u2013Clearwater International Airport (PIE).<\/p>\n
Sprague has been with the airport since 2015, serving as deputy director and, most recently, interim director, where he oversaw daily operations, emergency management and planning for a new terminal and parking structure. His 25\u2011year aviation career includes work as an airline pilot and roles in airport operations at Reagan National and Dulles airports.<\/p>\n
He also worked as an airline transport pilot for both Comair and Spirit airlines.<\/p>\n
