{"id":193758,"date":"2026-03-16T17:39:06","date_gmt":"2026-03-16T17:39:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/193758\/"},"modified":"2026-03-16T17:39:06","modified_gmt":"2026-03-16T17:39:06","slug":"starbucks-building-drive-thru-at-former-econo-lodge-site-on-dale-mabry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/193758\/","title":{"rendered":"Starbucks building drive-thru at former Econo Lodge site on Dale Mabry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Construction is underway on a new Starbucks drive-thru at the former Econo Lodge site on North Dale Mabry Highway in <a href=\"https:\/\/tbbwmag.com\/category\/tampa-bay-business\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tampa<\/a>, about a mile from <a href=\"https:\/\/tbbwmag.com\/tag\/raymond-james-stadium\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Raymond James Stadium<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The project calls for a 2,533-square-foot <a href=\"https:\/\/tbbwmag.com\/category\/retail\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Starbucks<\/a> at 4732 N. Dale Mabry Highway near West Cayuga Street. The one-story building will include patio seating, parking and drive-thru service.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tbbwmag.com\/category\/infrastructure-development\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Construction<\/a> could wrap up in about four months, according to Housh Ghovaee, owner of Northside Engineering, the project engineer.<\/p>\n<p>READ: <a href=\"https:\/\/tbbwmag.com\/tampa-bay-real-estate-news\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">TAMPA BAY REAL ESTATE NEWS<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Starbucks already operates about 50 locations in the Tampa area, according to the company\u2019s store locator. In recent years, the company has expanded its drive-thru format as mobile ordering and commuter traffic reshape how customers use its stores.<\/p>\n<p>North Dale Mabry Highway is one of Tampa\u2019s primary commercial corridors linking Westshore, South Tampa and Carrollwood. The road also carries traffic past Raymond James Stadium and sits a short drive from Tampa International Airport and International Plaza.<\/p>\n<p>Drive-thru layout and site history<\/p>\n<p>The Starbucks building will have vehicle access from West Cayuga Street.
