{"id":194118,"date":"2026-03-16T22:38:07","date_gmt":"2026-03-16T22:38:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/194118\/"},"modified":"2026-03-16T22:38:07","modified_gmt":"2026-03-16T22:38:07","slug":"fort-lauderdale-murder-suspect-facing-additional-charges-for-separate-shooting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/194118\/","title":{"rendered":"Fort Lauderdale murder suspect facing additional charges for separate shooting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text text--small text--normal text--primary\">Published:\u00a0March 16, 2026 at 6:21 PM<\/p>\n<p>Suspect in Fort Lauderdale murder facing additional charges <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.  \u2014 Daneshia Heller\u2019s grandmother is still in so much anguish nearly a month after her death. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Heller, 30, was found dead by a dumpster on the morning of Feb. 18 \u2015 murdered.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Authorities have since arrested Altavious Powell, who, according to his arrest warrant, told his child\u2019s mother that he killed two women. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Initially, Ft.
