This was the fourth bomb threat since Friday, the sheriff\u2019s office said.<\/p>\n<p>                DAVID SANTIAGO<\/p>\n<p>            dsantiago@miamiherald.com<\/p>\n<p>Zoo Miami received another bomb threat Monday, marking the fourth one since Friday, the Miami-Dade Sheriff\u2019s Office said.<\/p>\n<p>By 6 p.m. the sheriff\u2019s office declared the property all clear, said Ivan Castro, a Zoo Miami spokesman.<\/p>\n<p>The sheriff\u2019s office thinks the threats are \u201cswatting calls,\u201d hoaxes to provoke a strong law-enforcement response, but nevertheless sent deputies to the property at Southwest 152nd Street to conduct a thorough sweep, said Detective Luis Sierra, an agency spokesman.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.miamiherald.com\/news\/local\/community\/miami-dade\/article315062118.html\">READ MORE: Zoo Miami reopens Sunday after bomb threats closed it Friday and Saturday<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The zoo was forced to close early due to threats received Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
