{"id":195591,"date":"2026-03-17T23:13:18","date_gmt":"2026-03-17T23:13:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/195591\/"},"modified":"2026-03-17T23:13:18","modified_gmt":"2026-03-17T23:13:18","slug":"breeze-airways-announces-2-international-non-stop-services-at-tampa-international-airport","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/195591\/","title":{"rendered":"Breeze Airways announces 2 international, non-stop services at Tampa International Airport"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ticket fares for the new destinations start at $129 one-way and can be purchased on the Breeze Airways website.<\/p>\n<p>TAMPA, Fla. \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wtsp.com\/article\/travel\/breeze-airways-new-routes-flights-tampa-atlantic-city-columbus-ft-lauderdale\/67-c4714b10-0bd2-4661-8c6d-0c6742104b6a\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Breeze Airways<\/a> customers traveling out of Tampa International Airport have new international destinations to check out.<\/p>\n<p>The airline announced it is launching new non-stop services to San Jose, Costa Rica and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The announcement now brings the total number of international destinations to six.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis announcement doubles the number of international destinations Breeze serves from Tampa, making it easy for our Guests to visit great places across Central America and the Caribbean,\u201d David Neeleman, founder and CEO of Breeze Airways, said in a statement. \u201cWith Breeze\u2019s premium product offering and affordable fares, we know our Guests in Tampa will love this new and convenient international service.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Service to Punta Cana out of TPA begins July 2, with flights available on Thursday and Sundays.<\/p>\n<p>Flights to San Jose begin Oct. 3, with services offered on Wednesdays and Saturdays.<\/p>\n<p>Ticket fares for both destinations start at $129 one way and can be purchased on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flybreeze.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Breeze Airways website.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>TPA says the service to San Jose has long been a goal for the airport and marks the return of the Costa Rican destination to TPA for the first time in more than 25 years.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It\u2019s an exciting day for Tampa International Airport as we celebrate not one, but two new international nonstop routes,\u201d TPA CEO Michael Stephens said. &#8220;With new service to San Jose, Costa Rica \u2014 our first time offering this destination from TPA in more than 25 years \u2014 and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, we\u2019re enhancing Tampa Bay\u2019s access to two sought-after travel spots.
