A new Loungefly backpack and a small collection of other travel-oriented items themed to Universal Studios is now available for CityWalk guests.<\/p>\n

Universal Studios Collection<\/p>\n

Universal Parks and Universal Pictures fans alike may enjoy this new batch of merchandise themed to the company as a whole. The new items include a keychain, lanyard, refillable Freestyle cup, and a collectible Loungefly backpack.<\/p>\n

Much of the collection leans into the company\u2019s long history in cinema. Universal Pictures traces its roots to 1912, making it one of the oldest movie studios still in operation. Over the decades, the studio evolved through multiple ownership changes and expanded its portfolio to encompass themed experiences through parks around the globe.<\/p>\n

Universal Studios Florida opened on June 7, 1990 as a working studio and theme park inspired by the company\u2019s film history. The park was originally designed to combine behind-the-scenes production elements with major attractions based on popular movies, though it gradually shifted away from its \u201cworking studio\u201d concept as guest demand focused more on immersive rides and themed lands.<\/p>\n

This small keychain continues the monochromatic theme through a black varsity jacket design with white trim. On the torso \u201cUniversal Studios\u201d and \u201c1912\u201d are featured, the latter referencing the founding year of the company. The reverse side of the jacket showcases a large graphic of the Universal globe.<\/p>\n

The film theme continues with this transparent pouch, allowing guests to stow their lanyards as needed when riding attractions or otherwise just tucking the accessory away.<\/p>\n

For park guests, a new design of refillable Freestyle cup was released alongside this collection. The cup sports a more colorful look than the earlier items, though the Universal globe and arches remain prominent around the featured design.<\/p>\n

We found all these items at a merchandise kiosk located just outside of Margaritaville<\/a> in Universal\u2019s CityWalk.<\/p>\n
