SPEAKING OF EXCITING NEWS, NOT THIS MORNING BECAUSE IT’S COLD OUT THERE RIGHT NOW, BUT THIS ACTUALLY COULD BE THE LAST WINTER WE SEE UNTIL WE HEAD INTO SPRING. THAT’S RIGHT. IT IS. OKAY. TODAY IT. THIS IS IT. THANK GOODNESS. SPRING OFFICIALLY BEGINS ON FRIDAY AND WE ARE LOOKING AT TEMPERATURES IN THE MID 70S BY FRIDAY AFTERNOON. AND EVEN TOMORROW WE START TO SEE TEMPERATURES CLIMB INTO THE 50S. THIS MORNING THOUGH, WE’RE TALKING ABOUT 30S AND 40S. SO 39 DEGREES RIGHT NOW IN OCALA. A CHILLY START IN PALM COAST AT 42 AND 48. RIGHT NOW IN THE CITY. BEAUTIFUL. BUT THERE IS A VERY LIGHT BREEZE AT 5 TO 15MPH. BUT WHEN YOU HAVE TEMPERATURES THIS COLD, ANY BREEZE IS JUST GOING TO ADD THAT EXTRA BITE IN THE AIR. RIGHT NOW, WINDS ARE COMING OUT OF THE NORTH AT NINE MILES PER HOUR. LEE AND SEVEN LEESBURG. BUT LOOK AT OCALA. WINDS ARE DEAD CALM. AND SO BECAUSE THE WINDS ARE CALM THERE, THERE IS THAT POTENTIAL THIS MORNING FOR SOME WIDESPREAD FROST DEVELOP, WHICH IS WHY YOU’RE UNDER A FROST ADVISORY FOR THE EASTERN HALF OF THE MARION COUNTY. A FREEZE WARNING FOR THE WESTERN HALF. HERE’S A LOOK AT OUR WIDER PICTURE HERE. HIGH PRESSURE JUST OFF TO OUR NORTH. THAT’S GOING TO BRING US DRY CONDITIONS TODAY. BUT NOTICE AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE BRINGING QUITE A BIT OF HIGH LEVEL CLOUDS, MOSTLY INTO BREVARD AND ALSO OSCEOLA COUNTIES THIS MORNING, AREAS NORTH AND WEST WILL START WITH BEAUTIFUL SUNSHINE. FIRST WARNING RADAR YOU SEE AS IT’S DOING A SCAN SHOWING DRY CONDITIONS. WE’RE GOING TO KEEP IT THAT WAY FOR THE REST OF THE DAY. TODAY. WE’RE ALSO GOING TO USHER OUT THOSE CLOUDS LATER THIS AFTERNOON AS WELL. SO EVEN FOLKS IN BREVARD AND OSCEOLA COUNTY WILL GET SOME PEEKS OF SUNSHINE HERE AND THERE FOR YOUR WEDNESDAY. SPEAKING OF THAT, LET’S TAKE A LOOK AT YOUR 12 HOUR FORECAST. AGAIN, A CHILLY START THIS MORNING. YOU’LL NEED THE LAYERS AT LEAST A JACKET, BUT YOU’LL LIKELY EVEN NEED IT THIS AFTERNOON BECAUSE HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL ONLY CLIMB TO AROUND 69 DEGREES TODAY. WITH BRIGHT SUNSHINE, IT’S GOING TO BE A NICE DAY TO BE OUTSIDE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU’RE IN THE SUNSHINE TO HELP WARM YOU UP. IF YOU’RE HEADING OUT TO THE COAST. SO KEEP IN MIND THAT RIP CURRENT RISK IS STILL ON THE HIGH SIDE. YOU SEE THOSE AREAS HIGHLIGHTED IN THE BLUE, INCLUDING OUR COASTLINES THERE, AND IT’S GOING TO REMAIN ON THE HIGH SIDE ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE END OF THE WEEK. SO IF YOU ARE ENTER THE ENTERING THE SURF, WHICH IS NOT RECOMMENDED, PLEASE DO SO IN FRONT OF A LIFEGUARD STAND. TOMORROW MORNING, TEMPERATURES WILL GRADUALLY MODERATE ALREADY. LOOK AT THIS LOW OF 46 IN THE VILLAGES, 51 IN ORLANDO, 49 IN DELAND TOMORROW MORNING. SO WE’RE STARTING TO SEE THOSE DIRECTIONS GRADUALLY CLIMB UP AS WE GO INTO LATE WEEK. TOMORROW AFTERNOON. WE’LL SEE THOSE TEMPERATURES CLIMB INTO THE LOW 70S. SO THURSDAY WE START TO MAKE THAT TURN TO WARMER TEMPERATURE TREND. AND THEN BY FRIDAY, HIGHS IN THE MID 70S FOR THE FIRST OFFICIAL DAY OF SPRING. TAKE A LOOK AT YOUR CENTRAL FLORIDA CERTIFIED. MOST ACCURATE SEVEN DAY FORECAST. THIS UPCOMING WEEKEND LOOKS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. WE’RE LOOKING AT COOL MORNINGS BUT VERY WARM AFTERNOONS. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN THE LOW 80S MONDAY. LOOKING GREAT OF NEXT WEEK AS WELL. THEN WE DO HAVE ANOTHER COLD FRONT THAT WILL BE ARRIVING ON TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK. THAT’S GOING TO BRING US SOME RAIN SHOWERS, BUT IT’S NOT EXPECTED TO BRING ANY SIGNIFICANT DROP OFF IN TEMPERATURES MID WEEK. NEXT WEEK WE’LL SEE TEMPERATURES IN THE 70S.
