{"id":196283,"date":"2026-03-18T12:29:09","date_gmt":"2026-03-18T12:29:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/196283\/"},"modified":"2026-03-18T12:29:09","modified_gmt":"2026-03-18T12:29:09","slug":"central-florida-to-see-winds-near-20-mph-wednesday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/196283\/","title":{"rendered":"Central Florida to see winds near 20 mph Wednesday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Central Florida is starting off with cool temperatures on Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">A wind shift will begin to take over Wednesday afternoon, bringing breezy conditions back to Central Florida.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Consistent wind speeds along the coast could be as high as 20 miles per hour.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">For Orlando, it will be slightly less, between 10 and 15 mph, through the early evening.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">This wind shift will also allow temperatures to rise beginning Thursday morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Our morning low on Thursday will still be around 50 degrees, but that number will progressively grow between now and the start of the weekend.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Afternoon highs will also return to the upper 60s on Wednesday and will slowly rise to the 80s by this weekend.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">A few coastal showers will be possible in southern Brevard County on Wednesday evening and Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Other than this isolated chance of rain, we are looking dry around the rest of the region for at least the next week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wftv.com\/mobile-apps\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Click here;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" data-yga=\"{&quot;yLinkElement&quot;:&quot;context_link&quot;,&quot;yModuleName&quot;:&quot;content-canvas&quot;,&quot;yLinkText&quot;:&quot;Click here&quot;}\" class=\"link \">Click here<\/a> to download our free news, weather and smart TV apps.
