Communications and business strategy executive Emigdio Rojas has been elected to the Board of Directors of the NAMI Miami-Dade County, the local affiliate of\u00a0 the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), the nation\u2019s largest grassroots organization\u00a0 dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by mental illness.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Rojas brings over two decades of experience in strategic communications, marketing, and\u00a0 community engagement across the United States and Latin America. He is the Founder and CEO of Red Collective, a Miami-based strategic communications, marketing, and business consulting\u00a0 firm serving organizations across the Americas.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As a member of the board, Rojas will support the organization\u2019s mission to provide education,\u00a0 advocacy, and support, as well as public awareness programs, that improve the lives of individuals\u00a0 and families affected by mental health conditions.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cMental illness requires urgent attention and sustained community commitment,\u201d said Rojas. \u201cI am honored to join the Board of NAMI Miami-Dade and contribute to advancing awareness, reducing stigma, and expanding access to resources that support mental health across our community.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Susan Holtzman, CEO of NAMI Miami-Dade County, welcomed the appointment. \u201cWe are\u00a0 delighted to welcome Emigdio to the Board of Directors,\u201d said Holtzman. \u201cHis extensive\u00a0 experience in communications and community engagement will help strengthen our efforts to raise\u00a0 awareness about mental health and expand support for individuals and families across Miami\u00a0<\/p>\n

NAMI Miami-Dade County plays a critical role in providing free education programs, support groups, and advocacy initiatives for individuals and families navigating mental health challenges in Miami and the Keys.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Through his board service, Rojas plans to contribute his expertise in communications, partnerships, and strategic engagement to help strengthen community outreach and visibility for the organization\u2019s programs.\u00a0<\/p>\n
