In the month of April, DAAS CO-OP Art Gallery & Gifts is showcasing the work of Miami-based artist Gross Clinic. The exhibition, entitled “Gross,” serves as an introduction to the artist’s work in the area. An opening reception is scheduled for the evening of Friday, April 3, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. The exhibition will be on display until April 26, 2026.

Currently based in Miami, Valentino Urroz works under the name “Gross Clinic.” His style is built on a mix of self-taught, formal art school, and eventually graffiti. leaning into a world of cartoons, pop culture and caricatures. For Valentino, the message is always more important than the materials; he often finds more freedom in a simple ballpoint pen and copy paper than in expensive art supplies.

Much of his work centers on an anthropomorphic plant named “Plant.” Serving as an alter ego, this character has grown into a visual world that Valentino uses to navigate his own experiences.
