After living for a time in South Wales, California, and Hawaii, his family returned to St. Petersburg in 2006. Jackson attended Perkins Elementary School, Thurgood Marshall and Sanderlin Middle Schools, and graduated from the Finance Academy at Northeast High School in 2019. After high school, he joined the U.S. Navy Reserve while attending St. Petersburg College. In March 2022, Jackson was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (FLT-3+).
