It is built around a 9-acre working farm that blends homes, gardens and conservation land into one integrated neighborhood.Construction is underway, but aerial views from Chopper 2 already reveal a vision unlike any other in the region. The nearly 12,000-acre development includes more than 200 acres of preserved wetlands and conservation areas, along with 12 miles of walking trails, greenhouses, harvest and gathering barns, and U-pick gardens.\u201cIt feels like you\u2019re actually in nature,\u201d said Matthew True, Pulte Homes vice president of sales in Orlando. \u201cThis is going to enable you to find a lifestyle you weren\u2019t able to find yet here in Central Florida.\u201dThe Grow is a partnership between Pulte Homes and the Marbell family, longtime owners of the land, who say the community is designed to promote a healthy lifestyle and connection to nature. \u201cWe are excited to bring the concept to life,\u201d said property owner David Martinez.Residents will not have to farm themselves. Farmer Nicole Bluh, the Grow\u2019s farm manager and educator, will oversee planting, harvesting and sharing the produce.
