Goleman<\/a> waltzed into their contest on Thursday with four straight wins… but they left with five. Everything went their way against the Hialeah Thoroughbreads<\/a> as they made off with a 17-2 win. That’s the second time they’ve managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-0 back in February.<\/p>\n The team relied heavily on Nicole Regalado<\/a>, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. She has been hot, having also posted at least one stolen base the last six times she’s played. Another player making a difference was Kailenn Carrasco<\/a>, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.<\/p>\n Goleman was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they’ve now posted a batting average of .368 or higher in five consecutive matchups.<\/p>\n Goleman’s victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Hialeah, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.<\/p>\n Goleman and Hialeah will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Gators see the field they’ll take on Chaminade-Madonna at 3:30 p.m. on the 30th. As for Hialeah, their break will end when they face Mater Lakes Academy at 3:00 p.m. on April 1.<\/p>\n
