{"id":199111,"date":"2026-03-20T12:47:11","date_gmt":"2026-03-20T12:47:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/199111\/"},"modified":"2026-03-20T12:47:11","modified_gmt":"2026-03-20T12:47:11","slug":"multi-car-crash-into-power-pole-leaves-wawa-in-the-dark-in-pinellas-park","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/199111\/","title":{"rendered":"Multi-car crash into power pole leaves Wawa in the dark in Pinellas Park"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The crash initially caused about 200 Duke Energy customers to lose power, but it has since been restored.<\/p>\n<p>PINELLAS PARK, Fla. \u2014 A<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wtsp.com\/video\/traffic\/crash-on-gandy-causes-hundreds-of-power-outages-in-pinellas-park\/67-64c21281-4731-40df-9d71-7a13212e1b51\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">\u00a0multi-car crash into a power pole<\/a> left a Wawa in the dark early Friday morning in Pinellas Park.<\/p>\n<p>The crash happened just before 2 a.m. at the intersection of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/Grand+Ave+%2526+Gandy+Blvd+N,+Pinellas+Park,+FL+33702\/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x88c2e46997112375:0x9e8ee2ab234b8e00?sa=X&amp;ved=1t:242&amp;ictx=111\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Gandy Boulevard and Grand Avenue.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>10 Tampa Bay News crews saw a damaged power pole at the scene as Duke Energy trucks responded.<\/p>\n<p>Initially, Duke was reporting about 200 customers without power in the area.
