Orlando restaurant openings & closings:<\/p>\n

Last week we told you that\u00a0Pig Floyd\u2019s\u00a0on Lee Road in Winter Park had closed after just six months<\/a> and that a new concept would be moving in. That concept?\u00a0Zaza Cuban Comfort Food. Look for it to open in June. Zaza\u2019s new flagship location at 1621 S. Orange Ave. in SoDo is also slated to open in June \u2026<\/p>\n

Downtown Orlando will be home to the city\u2019s first\u00a0Milkshake Factory\u00a0when it opens next month at 595 W. Church St. on the ground floor of the City View Apartments \u2026\u00a0Baires Grill, with its menu of Argentinean steaks, milanesas, seafood and pasta, is now open at 8050 International Drive. Baires Grill is also the official restaurant of the Argentine Football Association \u2026\u00a0Summer Breeze Roti Shop, specializing in Trini-style eats including doubles, curry goat and pholourie, has opened at 215 W. State Road 434 in Longwood in the same plaza as Dough Boyz Pizzeria \u2026\u00a0<\/p>\n

Budsaba Thai\u00a0has opened in the Chickasaw Plaza at 222 Neighborhood Market Road offering a host of papaya salads, curries and Isan dishes \u2026 After permanently closing downtown in May 2024,\u00a0Hamburger Mary\u2019s\u00a0will be revived this May<\/a> in the former Shoney\u2019s Kitchen + Bar space in Kissimmee\u2019s Old Town at 5764 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway \u2026 Over in Avalon Park, the\u00a0Black Hawk Social Club\u00a0has opened offering prime steaks, burgers and grouper sandwiches at 12001 Avalon Lake Drive.<\/p>\n

Sparrow<\/a> will partner with\u00a0El Donut Shoppe\u00a0to launch\u00a0Thursday Night Vinyl\u00a0beginning March 26 from 7-10 p.m. featuring curated music, drink specials and pintxos from James Beard-nominated chef Wendy Lopez \u2026 <\/p>\n

Look for chef\u00a0Hung Huynh\u00a0to launch his\u00a0Bang Bang Noodle Co.\u00a0pop-up inside Mills Market<\/a> next week \u2026 Caribbean outfit\u00a0Flayva Thymme\u00a0will pop up behind Will\u2019s Pub on the Dirty Laundry patio at 8 p.m. Friday, March 20. Expect bold Caribbean flavors and West Indian dishes \u2026\u00a0<\/p>\n

Quicksand<\/a>\u00a0will host\u00a0The Vinguard, an organization amplifying underrepresented voices in the wine industry, for\u00a0Wine Flair, a wine-tasting event featuring LGBTQIA winemakers from 7-10 p.m. Wednesday, March 25. Winemakers from La Petite Mort, Etteilla Wines, Cary Q Wines, Lares and Statera Cellars will be on hand. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased at\u00a0ticketstripe.com\/wineflair-orlando<\/a>.<\/p>\n
