{"id":199921,"date":"2026-03-21T01:59:08","date_gmt":"2026-03-21T01:59:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/199921\/"},"modified":"2026-03-21T01:59:08","modified_gmt":"2026-03-21T01:59:08","slug":"inter-miami-sign-homegrown-midfielder-alexander-shaw","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/199921\/","title":{"rendered":"Inter Miami sign homegrown midfielder Alexander Shaw"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS:\u00a0Signing<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mlssoccer.com\/clubs\/inter-miami-cf\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Inter Miami CF<\/a> have signed homegrown midfielder Alexander Shaw through 2026 with options through the 2028-29 season, the club announced Friday.<\/p>\n<p>The 17-year-old academy graduate made his MLS debut last weekend, coming on as a substitute in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mlssoccer.com\/competitions\/mls-regular-season\/2026\/matches\/cltvsmia-03-14-2026\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">0-0 draw<\/a> at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mlssoccer.com\/clubs\/charlotte-fc\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Charlotte FC<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Shaw previously recorded two assists in 13 appearances for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mlsnextpro.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">MLS NEXT Pro<\/a> affiliate Inter Miami CF II in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSigning my first contract as a first-team player is a blessing.
