Her streak was snapped when she reached on an error in the third inning.<\/p>\n<p>Editor&#8217;s Picks<a name=\"&amp;lpos=story:editorspicks:inline:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/college-sports\/softball\/story\/_\/id\/48264790\/florida-state-softball-isa-torres-sets-ncaa-record-hit-14-straight-bats\" class=\"img-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/r1631577_1296x1296_1-1.jpg&#038;w=130&#038;h=130&#038;scale=crop&#038;location=center.jpeg\" width=\"65\" height=\"65\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Torres set the record Friday, when her streak reached 14 consecutive at-bats with a hit.<\/p>\n<p>Four players shared the previous NCAA record of 13 consecutive hits: Boston University&#8217;s April Setterlund (2010), Norfolk State&#8217;s Haley Ward (2013), Nevada&#8217;s Jennifer Purcell (2016) and Wichita State&#8217;s Sydney McKinney (2023).<\/p>\n<p>Torres is batting .662 this season.
