ORLANDO, Fla. \u2013 Central Florida will stay warm and mostly dry to start the week, but a weak front will bring scattered showers and a few storms Tuesday and Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Monday<\/p>\n
Another dry and warm day is in store across Central Florida.<\/p>\n
Afternoon highs will climb into the 80s, with a breezy west wind developing through the afternoon and evening. Lower humidity and gusty winds will also lead to elevated fire weather concerns.<\/p>\n
Tuesday & Wednesday <\/p>\n
A weak cold front will move into Central Florida on Tuesday and then stall near the coast into Wednesday.<\/p>\n
As the front approaches, winds will turn northeast and increase along the coast, with gusts up to around 20 mph at times.<\/p>\n
Moisture will also increase, leading to scattered showers and a few storms Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday, especially across northern and coastal areas.<\/p>\n
A couple of storms could become briefly strong, producing gusty winds, lightning, and locally heavy downpours.<\/p>\n
As the front stalls, there is also the potential for repeated rounds of rain along the Volusia and Brevard County coastlines, which could lead to locally higher rainfall totals.<\/p>\n
Showers may linger into Wednesday morning before gradually shifting south through the day, with a few storms still possible into the afternoon.<\/p>\n
Temperatures will cool slightly near the coast, with highs in the mid 70s to low 80s, while inland areas remain in the low to mid 80s.<\/p>\n

A higher risk of rip currents is expected to return from Tuesday to Wednesday. <\/p>\n
Late week into the weekend<\/p>\n
Drier weather returns Thursday into early Saturday, with plenty of sunshine and temperatures warming back into the 80s.<\/p>\n
Another cold front is expected to approach late Saturday into Sunday, bringing another chance for showers, especially along the coast.<\/p>\n
Behind that front, temperatures will ease slightly, with highs returning closer to normal in the mid to upper 70s by Sunday, along with breezy conditions.<\/p>\n
