{"id":202711,"date":"2026-03-23T17:44:08","date_gmt":"2026-03-23T17:44:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/202711\/"},"modified":"2026-03-23T17:44:08","modified_gmt":"2026-03-23T17:44:08","slug":"driver-collides-with-disney-bus-leaving-disney-springs-after-trying-to-beat-light","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/202711\/","title":{"rendered":"Driver Collides with Disney Bus Leaving Disney Springs After Trying to Beat Light"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Some guests were traveling aboard a Disney bus leaving Disney Springs, headed to Wilderness Lodge on Friday, March 20, when they collided with a vehicle that was trying to beat the red light.<\/p>\n<p>Disney Springs Bus Collision<a data-fslightbox=\"1\" data-type=\"image\" aria-label=\"Open fullscreen lightbox with current image\" href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/IMG_8094-1-edited-scaled.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1440\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/IMG_8094-1-edited-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Disney Springs Bus Collision\" class=\"wp-image-1399337\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The bus left the Disney Springs loop around approximately 7 PM and headed down Buena Vista Drive when a driver tried to make a left turn against the light, not realizing the bus lanes were active and had the right of way.<\/p>\n<p>The bus driver did what he could to swerve and slow, but a collision with the vehicle happened. The bus was not at capacity as everyone aboard had a seat, and reportedly, there were no serious injuries.\u00a0The guests were then seen by a Disney medical team within 10-15 minutes. They were transferred to another bus within half an hour.<\/p>\n<p><a data-fslightbox=\"1\" data-type=\"image\" aria-label=\"Open fullscreen lightbox with current image\" href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/IMG_8091-scaled.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1920\" height=\"2560\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/IMG_8091-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Disney Springs Bus Collision\" class=\"wp-image-1399341\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The bus appears to have a cracked windshield, though it seems there is no visible damage on the doors.
