Ivanka Trump<\/a> has revealed that she and her family<\/a> have welcomed a fluffy new member to their Miami mansion\u2014an adorable dog named Aspen.<\/p>\n

The 44-year-old first daughter<\/a> took to Instagram to announce Aspen’s arrival<\/a> at their sprawling Indian Creek Island abode<\/a>, sharing images of the playful puppy being welcomed to the dwelling by her three children: Arabella, 13, Joseph, 10 and Theodore, 8.<\/p>\n

“Welcome to the family, Aspen,” she wrote in the caption alongside a carousel of photos and videos of Aspen bonding with her kids.<\/p>\n

The puppy joins the family’s other two dogs, Winter, who was purchased as a gift for Arabella’s 8th birthday in 2019, and Simba, a German Shepherd-Lab mix who the family rescued in 2023.<\/p>\n

While Ivanka did not share any other details about Aspen, the pup appears to be a Pomsky-esque breed and was seen settling in happily with the rest of the family, including the Trump-Kushner’s other dogs.<\/p>\n

In one video shared as part of the post, Arabella could be seen lying on the floor holding Aspen, while Simba cuddled up to the new pup\u2014and Winter watched on.<\/p>\n

Some photos also saw Ivanka’s sons posing with the new pup, while another showed the mother of three posing on an elegant wooden staircase with both Aspen and Winter.<\/p>\n

Ivanka’s husband, Jared Kushner, was not seen in the photos.<\/p>\n

The family officially moved to Florida from Washington, DC, in January 2021, after Ivanka’s father, President Donald Trump, left the White House for the first time.<\/p>\n

Initially, the Trump-Kushners moved into a sprawling condo in a high-rise building in Miami’s Surfside community, where they are understood to have leased the home while construction was carried out on their custom residence on Indian Creek Island, best known as “Billionaire Bunker” thanks to the high net worth of its few residents.<\/p>\n

During a January 2025 interview on “The Skinny Confidential<\/a>” podcast, Ivanka revealed she and Jared had made the decision to move to the Sunshine State in a bid to protect their children from the “darkness” of politics.<\/p>\n

She bluntly admitted at the time that she “hates politics” and the “darkness” that surrounds “that world,” adding that the main reason she chose to distance herself from her father’s 2024 campaign was her children and her desire to protect them from all that she experienced.<\/p>\n

“The main reason I am not going back to serve now is, I know the cost,” she told hosts\u00a0Lauryn Bosstick\u00a0and\u00a0Michael Bosstick. “And it’s a price that I’m not willing to make my kids bear.<\/p>\n

“My primary goals were just to, like, be the best freaking mom. Every time I had to miss something, I’m like, ‘I will never let this happen again in the minute I leave the White House.’ I feel super great about this decision.”<\/p>\n

Ivanka revealed that working in the White House put her under extreme pressure and claimed that she didn’t “see the sunlight” for four years.<\/p>\n

“You become a little bit calloused. It’s very dark, negative. And some people love, like, the gladiator aspect of it. The fight\u2014that was never me,” she admitted.<\/p>\n

“Oh, my gosh, I don’t think I saw sunlight for four years,” she said of being an adviser to the president.<\/p>\n

Since leaving the White House, Ivanka has pursued a number of other passions, becoming a regular fixture on the red carpet at several high-profile celebrity events, while also forming friendships with several major A-list stars, including Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, and her fellow “Billionaire Bunker” resident, Lauren Sanchez Bezos.<\/p>\n

Lauren and her husband, Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos, own three properties on Indian Creek Island, two of which are located just a few doors down from Ivanka’s own abode.<\/p>\n

Ivanka and Kushner purchased their six-bedroom, 8.5-bathroom compound in April 2021; however, it would be several years before they actually took up residence there thanks to the intense renovations that they carried out on the dwelling.<\/p>\n

Images taken in the months after the sale closed revealed that the couple had gutted the home, leaving nothing but a bare shell that has since been transformed into one of the most enviable properties in the\u00a0exclusive neighborhood<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Work on the property went on for more than two years, with Ivanka hosting a birthday celebration there just weeks before the renovation was completed in November 2023.<\/p>\n

Property records reveal that Ivanka and Kushner\u2014who both served as senior advisers to Donald during his first term as president\u2014took out a $15 million mortgage when purchasing the home, which comes with a private boat dock and staggering views of Biscayne Bay.<\/p>\n

The couple purchased the home from billionaire\u00a0Alex Meruelo\u00a0and his wife,\u00a0Liset Meruelo.<\/p>\n

Located in an exclusive gated community, where\u00a0Tom Brady\u00a0also owns a home, the property was described in its original listing as a \u201cmagnificent, remodeled neoclassical masterpiece.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, Ivanka and Kushner’s plans for the property have seen it shed much of its former neoclassical charm, making way for a modern and lavish look.<\/p>\n

The exterior was given a coat of gleaming white paint, and edgy black trim replaced the wooden accents on the facade.<\/p>\n

Glimpses of the interior, which Ivanka has shared on Instagram, reveal an equally modern transformation, with a more industrial vibe replacing the classic design elements.<\/p>\n

However, some of the bones of the original structure remain, including the 26-foot-high ceilings, the open living areas, and the opulent double staircase.<\/p>\n

The couple also retained the large water feature at the front of the property. In the lavish backyard, they ripped out and then reinstalled the swimming pool.<\/p>\n

According to the plans that were released by Miami-Dade County, the couple installed a chef\u2019s kitchen next to the dining room and outfitted the primary suite with double closets and a beautiful spa bathroom.<\/p>\n

The pool cabana out back was also given a makeover, which saw a sauna, steam room, and cold plunge pool installed.<\/p>\n

Having designed the home with entertaining in mind, the couple have hosted numerous celebrations at the property since they moved in at the end of 2023.<\/p>\n
