It\u2019s time to hang on the passenger\u2019s side of your best friend\u2019s ride\u2014especially if \u201890s R&B girl groups are on rotation in your playlist.<\/p>\n

Today, TLC, Salt-N-Pepa and En Vogue announced the \u201cIt\u2019s Iconic\u201d tour (stylized all-caps), which includes a stop in Tampa this fall. No bustas allowed.<\/p>\n

Included in the performance lineup are classics from the groups\u2019 debut and best-selling albums, from TLC\u2019s \u201cNo Scrubs\u201d and \u201cWaterfalls\u201d to Salt-N-Pepa\u2019s \u201cShoop\u201d and \u201cPush it\u201d and En Vogue\u2019s \u201cFree Your Mind,\u201d according to a press release.<\/p>\n

In the announcement, Tionne \u201cT-Boz\u201d Watkins said the lineup had \u201c\u201csupergirl power,\u201d<\/a> while Cindy Herron of En Vogue promised a \u201cfeast for the audience.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Watkins and her TLC bandmate Rozonda \u201cChilli\u201d Thomas remain a duo, 24 years after the 2002 death of 30-year-old Lisa \u201cLeft Eye\u201d Lopes, who was touted not just as the group\u2019s rapper but as its creative force in songwriting and visuals.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The September show is one of just two Florida dates on the tour featuring the R&B legends.<\/p>\n

TLC has five Grammys to its name, and was also the first female group to win Video of the Year at the MTV Music Awards in 1995 for \u201cWaterfalls.\u201d Salt-N-Pepa\u2019s Cheryl \u201cSalt\u201d James, Sandra \u201cPepa\u201d Denton and Deidra \u201cSpinderella\u201d also made strides as the first all-female rap group to earn platinum certification. En Vogue also has three MTV Video Music Awards and seven Grammy nominations.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Guests planning to park at MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre<\/a> need to purchase a separate parking pass per vehicle, which starts at $25. Parking lots open two hours before the venue is open for entry.<\/p>\n
