GULF COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) – Data from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission is showing increasing red tide numbers along Florida\u2019s Gulf Coast.<\/p>\n
\u201cOver the past week, the red tide organism, Karenia brevis, was observed in six samples collected along Florida\u2019s Gulf Coast. Bloom concentrations (>100,000 cells\/liter) were present in five samples from Gulf County,\u201d the FWC said in a statement.<\/p>\n
