After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pinellas Park, Countryside<\/a> was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 14-8 margin over the St. Petersburg Green Devils<\/a>. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since March 2, 2020, but that streak is no more.<\/p>\n

Emmy Willett<\/a> made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned (and six unearned) runs off nine hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn’t given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
