When Ryan Rea moved to Miami in 2017, he did what most newcomers do: picked a condo based on price, location, and a quick tour. He ended up in Opera Tower, a building he now describes as \u201cnotorious\u201d for all the wrong reasons.<\/p>\n

After living in more than a dozen buildings across Brickell and Downtown, Rea realized something: In Miami, every condo operates like its own ecosystem, and the most important details are often the ones no one tells you until it\u2019s too late.<\/p>\n

As he moved from building to building, friends and eventually strangers began reaching out for his take on where to live. Rea, known as @volvoshine on X, would share his insights on condo buildings on that platform, but the volume quickly became unmanageable.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have a good idea for what a good building is, but I don\u2019t have time to talk to everyone about each building,\u201d said Rea, a marketing leader active in the Miami tech community. So he did what many in the age of AI can now do: He built his own platform.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s how Ryan\u2019s Rankings<\/a> emerged. Launched just three weeks ago, the site evaluates Miami condo buildings using a five-star rating system that blends objective data, like a building\u2019s age, amenities, and structure, with Rea\u2019s own unfiltered perspective. During its first week, the platform attracted more than 3,600 new users and is now drawing over 7,000 visitors on a weekly basis.<\/p>\n

Each building profile starts with the fundamentals, then moves into an overview of the building and its surrounding neighborhood, covering walkability, nearby hotspots, traffic patterns, and noise levels. From there, it gets more candid. Rea dives into what he calls \u201cRyan\u2019s Intel,\u201d which is where he provides blunt, lived-in insight you won\u2019t get from a listing or a broker. <\/p>\n

If you\u2019re wondering whether an HOA is overly strict, a building is heading into months of construction, or how well it\u2019s managed, Rea covers it all and more. \u201cI won\u2019t sugarcoat if a building is bad,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

To make the experience even more accessible, users can submit their own intel<\/a>, anonymously if they choose. They can also use the platform\u2019s AI concierge, powered by Interactor<\/a>, to ask questions and receive tailored recommendations based on condos.<\/p>\n

What makes the platform even more notable is how it was built. Rea, who previously worked at Microsoft and doesn\u2019t come from a traditional technical background, used Manus to create the site. \u201cWith Manus, I could just tell it what I wanted, and it would actually go out and build it,\u201d he said. By prompting the tool, he was able to generate the platform\u2019s structure, pull in building data, and iterate quickly, turning what would have been months of research into a process that took minutes. In total, he spent just a few hundred dollars and built the platform in about three weeks, a project that, just a few years ago, could have cost thousands of dollars.<\/p>\n

Rea sees this as just the beginning. While the platform, now free to use, currently focuses on Miami condos, the same model could expand to restaurants, bars, coworking spaces and beyond, bringing the same level of detail and transparency to other parts of city life.<\/p>\n
