MIAMI \u2014 In Puerto Rico, while growing up in the poverty of Canteras, Sandro Figueroa<\/a> got hooked on spray paint in San Juan\u2019s Santurce neighborhood. <\/p>\n

The graffiti in Calle Cerra<\/a> was close to the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico and the Museo de Arte Contempor\u00e1neo. He later moved to New York City. <\/p>\n

And while in the Bronx, as a teen, Figueroa became known as SEN2<\/a> and found refuge with the Tats Cru<\/a>, a group of Nuyorican graffiti writers. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt was there that he made his mark with intricate wildstyle pieces on subway trains and throughout streets,\u201d Cece Feinberg, a public relations agent promoting an event with the Museum of Graffiti<\/a> in Miami, wrote in a statement. <\/p>\n

The museum\u2019s private gallery<\/a>, at 2521 NW 3 Ave. <\/a>in Miami\u2019s Wynwood, will host an exhibit by SEN2<\/a> from 7 to 9 p.m. on April 11 \u2014 with a special giveaway. <\/p>\n

In partnership with Levi\u2019s, the private gallery will be giving away SEN2\u2019s art prints on Trucker Jackets on a first-come, first-served basis, and while supplies last. <\/p>\n

\u201cHis color palette ranges from striking grayscale works to paintings bursting with bright, glossy color,\u201d Feinberg wrote. \u201cEach piece incorporates elements of graffiti, paying homage to his roots while showcasing his ever-evolving and refined artistic identity.\u201d <\/p>\n
