American tennis star Tommy Paul takes on France\u2019s Arthur Fils in the quarterfinals of the 2026 Miami Open on March 25.<\/p>\n

Paul and Fils have gone head-to-head only one other time, during the 2023 Shanghai Masters, where Paul came out victorious 6-7, 6-7(7), 6-4. Paul, fresh off his 6-1,6-3 win over Tom\u00e1s Mart\u00edn Etcheverry in Miami, is thriving in front of a home crowd in Florida.<\/p>\n

The Paul-Fils showdown marks the South Florida-native\u2019s 7th Masters 1000 quarterfinal on home soil. Paul says there\u2019s a camaraderie among the U.S. players, and he\u2019s built a friendship with Sebastian Korda, who stunned World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz in the third round.<\/p>\n

\u201cI heard it from out on my court, it was hard not to hear it!\u201d Paul told the Tennis Channel<\/a> about the crowd\u2019s noise for Korda. \u201cBut I was pumped for him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cheering for Paul at Hard Rock Stadium is his fianc\u00e9e, Paige Lorenze. Paul first started dating Lorenze in 2022. He proposed in July 2025.<\/p>\n

Lorenze, founder of the lifestyle and clothing brand, Dairy Boy, is a regular at Paul\u2019s matches. A few days before the 2026 Miami Open kicked off, Lorenze shared some exciting news.<\/p>\n

\nLorenze announced she\u2019s launching a new athletic line, DB Sports, set to launch on April 2. \u201cI was a downhill ski racer. I went to a ski racing academy, and growing up as a serious competitive athlete, these are clothes that I\u2019ve been wearing my whole life,\u201d she explained to Elle<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of my jobs in college [at The New School] was working at a ski shop that sold technical but fashionable outdoor wear. Now tennis is a big part of my life with my fianc\u00e9 being a tennis player, and I found myself wearing even more activewear as an adult. But I always felt there was a gap in the market.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI was constantly saving references from the 2000s\u2014old Nike, old Adidas, even brands that don\u2019t exist anymore, old tennis dresses. A lot of the time for tennis matches I\u2019m buying things on eBay and getting them tailored and completely reworked. So I thought, I should be creating product in this category.\u201d<\/p>\n

Not only do the pieces work for running errands or hitting the gym, they\u2019re also perfect for Paul\u2019s matches. \u201cIt\u2019s also what I\u2019d want to wear to a tournament. I\u2019m not playing, but I\u2019m there, on the grounds,\u201d Lorenze added. \u201cI\u2019m honestly most proud of the DB Sport collection because I\u2019m more of a sporty girl than a fashion girl. I love the effortless style around sport.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m really looking forward to getting married, and I\u2019m looking forward to some collections reflecting that,\u201d she told People<\/a> of her clothing line last year. \u201cWe\u2019re growing our team, which is really exciting,\u201d she says. \u201cI feel like every year brings growth, and really, I\u2019m able to move faster towards my goals.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old can\u2019t wait to tie the knot. \u201cEverything is so much better since being engaged,\u201d she gushed. \u201cIn a sort of cheesy way, everything feels more serious and more special and it feels like we\u2019re starting our own tradition.\u201d<\/p>\n

Paul sent his future wife a special message<\/a> on Instagram to celebrate her birthday in January. He wrote, \u201cHappy birthday to my better half \u2764\ufe0f Have a feeling this year will be the best one yet.\u201d<\/p>\n
