FORT PIERCE \u2013 Police are searching for a suspect who robbed the Trust Bank, 700 block of Virginia Avenue, Fort Pierce on Oct. 23 at about noon.<\/p>\n
Initial investigation revealed that a masked man entered the bank, handed a note to a teller, demanding money and indicating that he was armed.<\/p>\n
The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money and the suspect fled the bank on foot, north through the parking lot, according to police reports.<\/p>\n
The suspect is described as Black, wearing black pants, a long-sleeved black shirt, a blue surgical mask and a wide-brimmed hat.<\/p>\n
Fort Pierce Police, in establishing a perimeter, conducted a search with K9 units, drones and the St. Lucie County Sheriff\u2019s Office\u2019s aviation unit but the suspect was not located, according to police reports.<\/p>\n
The case remains active.<\/p>\n
