JACKSONVILLE, Fla. \u2014 Family members say 32-year-old Tayvon Sellers was left to die at his apartment complex early Sunday morning at Gregory Cove Apartments in Arlington. <\/p>\n
\u201cWe were getting married on November 28th of this year,\u201d said Beonca Allen, Sellers\u2019 fianc\u00e9e. <\/p>\n
>>> STREAM ACTION NEWS JAX LIVE <<<<\/a> <\/p>\n What was supposed to be one of the happiest times of Allen\u2019s life drastically took a turn for the worse when her neighbor knocked on her door on Sunday morning. <\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m just holding his hand and telling him \u2018stay with me, stay with me, stay with me,\u201d said Allen. \u201cI\u2019m the one who found him.\u201d<\/p>\n Around 1:40 a.m. Sunday morning, the Jacksonville Sheriff\u2019s Office says two people were shot at the Gregory Cove apartments in Arlington. <\/p>\n Investigators say when they got there, they found a man shot on the sidewalk. He was taken to the hospital and later died. <\/p>\n JSO says another man was also shot in the leg and took himself to the hospital. <\/p>\n The family of the man who died identified him as Tayvon Sellers. <\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s not fair to me that they took my baby from me,\u201d said Tayvon\u2019s mom, who did not want to be identified. \u201cThat was my baby. I born him.\u201d<\/p>\n Sellers\u2019 family says they will always remember him for his humor. Now the family is looking for justice.<\/p>\n \u201cCall crime stoppers, call the news, call whoever. JSO, just get us some justice, please. We just want to know what happened,\u201d said Neda S., Tayvon\u2019s sister. <\/p>\n Sellers\u2019 family says he leaves behind four young girls.
