FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) \u2014 An investigation by the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office has led to the arrest of multiple suspects in a string of storage unit burglaries that rattled the Golden Ponds community.<\/p>\n

The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office<\/a> said that on Monday, deputies responded to a report of a burglary at storage units.<\/p>\n

The Sheriff’s Office said that during their investigation, a deputy uncovered information on Thursday that led to the arrest of a person found with tools that had been stolen during the incident. <\/p>\n

This person allegedly revealed they had purchased the items from someone else just a day after the burglary occurred.<\/p>\n

The Sheriff’s Office said that the diligent work of deputies, detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division, and Crime Scene Investigators led to the identification of more suspects. <\/p>\n

On Thursday, officials said that they conducted interviews, collected evidence, and established probable cause for the arrests. The following suspects, all from Fort Pierce, now face charges:<\/p>\n

Eric Brown, 37: Charged with 9 counts of burglary and 2 counts of dealing in stolen property.Jesse Humphrey, 18: Also charged with 9 counts of burglary and 2 counts of dealing in stolen property.Jordan Boatwright, 21: Charged as an accessory after the fact and for dealing in stolen property.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"FORT PIERCE, Fla.
