It was filed by Baker Barrios Architects Inc. on behalf of Universal Orlando, with The Whiting Turner Contracting Company listed as the proposed contractor.<\/p>\n<p>PEMB refers to a pre-engineered metal building, meaning parts are pre-fabricated offsite and then assembled in their new home.<\/p>\n<p><a data-fslightbox=\"1\" data-type=\"image\" aria-label=\"Open fullscreen lightbox with current image\" data-caption=\"Source: bioreconstruct on X\" href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/uor-ueu-expansion-prep-aerial-12.23.25-5.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1707\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/uor-ueu-expansion-prep-aerial-12.23.25-5.jpg\" alt=\"Construction Begins on Wizarding World of Harry Potter Expansion in Epic Universe\" class=\"wp-image-1345420\"\/><\/a>Source: bioreconstruct on X<\/p>\n<p>Though the address refers to Epic Universe at large, the permit is likely related to construction backstage at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter \u2013\u00a0Ministry of Magic.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wdwnt.com\/2025\/12\/construction-begins-wizarding-world-harry-potter-expansion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" aria-describedby=\"external-link-warning\">Work began<\/a> in December behind the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=K_RtbRljPZc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" aria-describedby=\"external-link-warning\">Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry<\/a>\u00a0show building after Universal\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/wdwnt.com\/2025\/11\/epic-universe-expansion-revealed-in-new-permit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" aria-describedby=\"external-link-warning\">filed a permit<\/a>\u00a0for \u201cnew construction\u201d on 150,000 square feet of the park. That permit was ultimately\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/wdwnt.com\/2025\/12\/epic-universe-permit-revealed-wizarding-world-harry-potter\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" aria-describedby=\"external-link-warning\">revealed to be<\/a> for \u201cP905,\u201d the codename for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter \u2013 Ministry of Magic. That permit was also filed by Baker Barrios Architects.<\/p>\n<p>Neither permit has exact details about what the new building could be for.<\/p>\n<p>Work also began in December on a <a href=\"https:\/\/wdwnt.com\/2025\/12\/expansion-preparation-continues-super-nintendo-world-celestial-park-epic-universe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" aria-describedby=\"external-link-warning\">rumored events pavilion<\/a> next to Super Nintendo World.<\/p>\n<p>This week, Universal filed a <a href=\"https:\/\/wdwnt.com\/2026\/03\/breaking-universal-files-permit-future-attraction-epic-universe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" aria-describedby=\"external-link-warning\">permit for a \u201cfuture attraction\u201d<\/a> at Epic Universe but the permit was quickly removed from the Orange County website.<\/p>\n<p>What do you hope to see in an Epic Universe expansion?
