The bridge features new sidewalks, bike paths and roadways.<\/p>\n
\u201cI like talking about the realities of the bridge,\u201d Tyrona Clark-Murray, District 9 representative, said. \u201cI know we\u2019re celebrating and did the ribbon cutting today, but the fact is that this bridge is going to help the elevation. The new design is going to help save lives in this community.\u201d<\/p>\n
Groundwork Jacksonville said the city has committed more than $100 million to managing the McCoys Creek flooding and creating neighborhood spaces.<\/p>\n
