{"id":207478,"date":"2026-03-26T21:46:11","date_gmt":"2026-03-26T21:46:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/207478\/"},"modified":"2026-03-26T21:46:11","modified_gmt":"2026-03-26T21:46:11","slug":"jetblue-adds-new-route-expands-nine-others","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/207478\/","title":{"rendered":"JetBlue Adds New Route, Expands Nine Others"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/airlinegeeks.com\/tag\/jetblue\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"JetBlue\">JetBlue<\/a> is once again growing capacity at its hub in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.<\/p>\n<p>The carrier announced Wednesday that it will <a href=\"https:\/\/news.jetblue.com\/latest-news\/press-release-details\/2026\/JetBlue-Grows-Fort-Lauderdale-Network-with-New-Route-and-More-Flights\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"add a new route from Fort Lauderdale\">add a new route from Fort Lauderdale<\/a> and increase frequencies on nine existing routes from the city.<\/p>\n<p>Starting July 8, JetBlue will connect Fort Lauderdale and Cleveland, Ohio, with daily service. The route is expected to operate year-round.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets for the connection are now available for purchase.<\/p>\n<p>Also starting in July, JetBlue will expand service to Atlanta; Newark, New Jersey; Jacksonville, Florida; Las Vegas; Norfolk, Virginia; Philadelphia; Aruba; Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic; and St. Maarten.<\/p>\n<p>The frequency changes are:<\/p>\n<p>Atlanta, one new daily flight for a total of four flights per day<\/p>\n<p>Aruba, four new weekly flights for a total of one flight per day<\/p>\n<p>Newark, one new daily flight for a total of four flights per day<\/p>\n<p>Jacksonville, one new daily flight for a total of two flights per day<\/p>\n<p>Las Vegas, one new daily flight for a total of three flights per day<\/p>\n<p>Norfolk, two more weekly flights for a total of one flight per day<\/p>\n<p>Philadelphia, one new daily flight for a total of three flights per day<\/p>\n<p>Santo Domingo, one new daily flight for a total of two flights per day<\/p>\n<p>St. Maarten, three more weekly flights for a total of one flight per day<\/p>\n<p>The changes come into effect on July 9 for all routes except Norfolk, which begins its new schedule one day earlier, on July 8.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese latest additions reflect our ongoing strategy to build an undeniably strong and relevant network in Fort Lauderdale by adding both new destinations and more frequencies where our customers want to fly,\u201d Daniel Shurz, JetBlue\u2019s senior vice president of revenue, network, and enterprise planning, said in a news release. \u201cAs we continue to grow in Fort Lauderdale, we\u2019re offering customers more choice, more flexibility, and a more connected network.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"JetBlue is once again growing capacity at its hub in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
