They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Fort Lauderdale Flying L<\/a>. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Flying L’s, too.<\/p>\n The final score came out to 25-12, 25-15, 25-20.<\/p>\n Max Spears<\/a> paced Western’s offense, picking up 12 kills. Spears got some help from Dexter Spears<\/a> and his 25 assists. Jayson Ruiz<\/a> controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.<\/p>\n Western’s victory bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Fort Lauderdale, their loss ended a six-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2.<\/p>\n Western wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Monarch on the 24th. As for Fort Lauderdale, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Coral Springs on the 25th.<\/p>\n
