A 73-year-old Florida man died Friday night after he was struck by a car in Essex County, authorities said.<\/p>\n
Joseph Francis Andolino, of North Palm Beach, was struck around 8:40 p.m. at the intersection of JFK Parkway and Fineran Way in Millburn Township, according to Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens II.<\/p>\n
Andolino was taken to Overlook Hospital in Summit, where was pronounced dead at 9:49 p.m.<\/p>\n
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene, Stephens said.<\/p>\n
The death remains under investigation.<\/p>\n
