Eleven children will participate April 25 as junior attendants in The Art Association of Jacksonville\u2019s 69th annual Beaux Arts Ball, “Liberty in Bloom.”<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The ball,\u00a0during which the Beaux Arts king and queen are crowned, is the association\u2019s primary fundraiser, with proceeds benefiting programming at the association\u2019s David Strawn Art Gallery at 331 W. College Ave.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s junior attendants include:<\/p>\n
\u2022 William Brycen Brown, son of William Brown and Betsy Brown of Franklin;<\/p>\n
\u2022\u00a0Pax West Davidsmeyer, son of C.D. and Kristen Davidsmeyer of Jacksonville;<\/p>\n
\u2022\u00a0Hilary Elaine English, daughter of Ian and Heather English of Jacksonville;<\/p>\n

Through the Strawn\u2019s permanent collections and monthly exhibits \u2014 which are free and open to the public \u2014 and art classes for children and adults, the association raises art awareness and encourages the exploration of art and creativity.<\/p>\n
The ball\u2019s proceeds fund those efforts, as well as renovations and upkeep of the historic gallery building.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s ball will be at 7 p.m. April 25 at Illinois College\u2019s Rammelkamp Chapel, 215 Park St.<\/p>\n
A champagne reception will precede the coronation from 5 to 6:30 p.m. April 25 at the gallery.<\/p>\n

Entertainment by Spectrum Band and hors d\u2019oeuvres at Hamilton\u2019s, 110 N. East St., will follow the coronation.<\/p>\n
