HOLLYWOOD, FLA. (WSVN) – Hundreds of protestors gathered across Miami-Dade County and Broward in opposition of President Donald Trump and his policies for this weekend\u2019s nationwide \u201cNo Kings\u201d demonstrations.<\/p>\n
The lighthearted protests brought demonstrators with cowbells in Hollywood, and protestors in Fort Lauderdale brought trombones and a dancing frog to their demonstrations.<\/p>\n
One man dressed up as an inflatable baby version of President Trump.<\/p>\n
\u201cEverybody bow down before your king!\u201d shouted the dressed up protestor. \u201cI am your king!\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWe got on a train ride that we wouldn\u2019t think would derail as it has,\u201d said a demonstrator to a crowd of people.<\/p>\n
However, crowds of demonstrators in Fort Lauderdale to Tropical Park in West Miami-Dade said that their message was serious.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re protesting Trump, his whole government, all his illegal actions and unconstitutional actions,\u201d said a protestor.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is an emergency. Trump has destroyed science, he\u2019s destroyed the climate, he\u2019s destroyed Social Security, we\u2019re in a needless war,\u201d said a demonstrator.<\/p>\n
They said making their voices heard on the streets and at the ballot box are critical to achieving change.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are trying to fight against our facism that\u2019s currently happening right now. Donald Trump is currently trying to obstruct the elections,\u201d said a protestor. \u201cAs a matter of fact, on Tuesday, Donald Trump voted by mail in West Palm Beach, and he\u2019s telling all of us it\u2019s fraud.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThis has gotta stop. He\u2019s not a king. Please everybody vote, when it comes in November,\u201d said a demonstrator.<\/p>\n
According to estimates, more than 8 million people participated in Saturday\u2019s demonstration\u2019s nationwide<\/p>\n
