{"id":211974,"date":"2026-03-30T18:25:07","date_gmt":"2026-03-30T18:25:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/211974\/"},"modified":"2026-03-30T18:25:07","modified_gmt":"2026-03-30T18:25:07","slug":"florida-hospital-drops-lawsuit-against-a-woman-who-wouldnt-leave-facility","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/211974\/","title":{"rendered":"Florida hospital drops lawsuit against a woman who wouldn&#8217;t leave facility"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/miami\/tag\/florida\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">Florida<\/a> hospital has dropped its lawsuit seeking to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/miami\/news\/florida-hospital-sues-to-evict-a-patient-who-wont-leave-room-5-months-after-discharge\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">evict a patient who refused to vacate a room for months<\/a> after she was discharged because, the hospital said, she finally left.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/miami\/tag\/tallahassee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">Tallahassee<\/a> Memorial Hospital filed the lawsuit this month requesting an injunction to force the woman to leave room 373 and authorizing the county sheriff&#8217;s office to assist if necessary.
