(WCTV) &#8211; One man was arrested following a February home break-in, according to the Leon County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Scott Scruggs, 42, is charged with Burglary of a Structure While Armed and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"Scruggs is facing charges related to a February break-in, according to LCSO.\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/4DCSBEXI5ZGZPJWVCVEY6BNZJE.png\" width=\"980\" height=\"551\" \/>Scruggs is facing charges related to a February break-in, according to LCSO.(Leon County Jail)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">On February 6, Scruggs allegedly broke in to a home in the 5400 block of Touraine Drive. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Detectives found Scruggs with a gunshot wound, according to LCSO. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Detectives determined Scruggs entered the home uninvited and refused to leave after several requests from the homeowner. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | text-center article-text\">More on crime in our area:<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">LCSO said Scruggs allegedly threatened the homeowner with a weapon.
