<\/a>Kristopher David of Fort Lauderdale died Thursday after a speeding Audi struck his BMW at W. Broward Boulevard and N.W. Seventh Avenue on Wednesday.<\/p>\n\nAccording to Fort Lauderdale Police, a black Audi was traveling west on W. Broward Boulevard at a high rate of speed. The car subsequently T-boned a white BMW as it entered the intersection at N.W. Seventh Avenue.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\nAfter striking the BMW, the Audi hit a Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue fire engine. Surveillance video reportedly shows the BMW slowly entering the intersection before impact.<\/p>\n
\nAuthorities said Kristopher David, 33, was driving the BMW. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition. He was placed on life support and passed away on Thursday.<\/p>\n
\nNo information has been released about the Audi’s driver.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\nThe cause of the wreck remains under investigation.<\/p>\n
