TAMPA, FL \u2014 A man was arrested Friday for multiple off-campus assaults of a University of South Florida student, the Hillsborough County Sheriff\u2019s Office said in a news release. <\/p>\n
Ashtin Andreasen, 21, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, four counts of battery by strangulation, three counts of battery, two counts of false imprisonment and tampering with a witness. <\/p>\n
Deputies didn\u2019t say whether Andreasen was also a USF student. <\/p>\n
On Thursday, detectives responded to USF\u2019s Tampa campus after a student reported being strangled, battered and threatened with a knife by the suspect during multiple incidents over several days at an off-campus location, HCSO said. <\/p>\n
