Go Grocer opens first store in Florida. | Go Grocer<\/p>\n

Urban grocer and convenience-store retailer\u00a0Go Grocer<\/a>\u00a0held a soft opening last week for its first Florida location in Fort Lauderdale.<\/p>\n

The Chicago-based retailer\u2019s location in the Sunshine State is at Flagler Village, a mixed-use development located at 500 N. Andrews Ave. The leased space is 2,538 square feet.<\/p>\n

Go Grocer started in 2008, founded by brothers Greg and Paul Stellatos. Go Grocer operates more than 12 locations throughout\u00a0Chicago<\/a>\u00a0as well as two locations in\u00a0Milwaukee<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are extremely excited to continue our expansion journey into south Florida,\u201d Greg Stellatos told\u00a0CSP\u00a0on Friday. \u201cFort Lauderdale and Flagler Village have embraced us with open arms. We will be announcing more locations in the near future.\u201d<\/p>\n

Go Grocer offers grocery essentials, freshly made grab-and-go items, locally sourced products and alcohol products.<\/p>\n

In 2024, Go Grocer told\u00a0CSP\u00a0that \u201cwe\u2019re not a 7-Eleven, but rather a mini Trader Joe\u2019s.\u201d<\/p>\n
