Mike had a ski trip planned with college buddies and I was looking at the forecast and wasn\u2019t too eager about another somewhat chilly weekend at home\u2026 so I booked a trip to Tampa as a bit of a spring break for us.<\/p>\n

As I was packing for the three of us and trying to coordinate logistics of car seats and all the stuff, I did start to question whether or not it was going to be worth it. Traveling is never really my forte, and then adding a four year and a two year old to the mix?! It\u2019s a lot. But\u2026 I\u2019m happy to report from the other side that it was 100% worth it. And also here to report that traveling with kids who aren\u2019t babies is also so much easier. Rory on the flight wasn\u2019t exactly relaxing for me but no tears and it was pretty manageable. And we still have Rory\u2019s nap every afternoon to schedule around. But since he\u2019s two, we could be a little more flexible, which lent to a much more relaxing and FUN trip.\u00a0<\/p>\n

That\u2019s actually how I would describe it\u2026 it was FUN. We went to the park every day. We swam at my parents\u2019 country club. We went to a baseball game. We went to the zoo! It was truly a blast and made me excited for future adventures. (Which, again as someone who really doesn\u2019t ~love~ traveling, shocks me!)
