(Getty Images)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/FoxUSNews\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">FOLLOW US ON X<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Courtney Campbell Causeway is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike who can enjoy the panoramic views\u00a0of the Bay.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/myfwc.com\/boating\/regulations\/paddleboard\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Florida Fish and Wildlife,<\/a> stand-up paddleboards are treated as vessels, which means paddlers are expected to follow many of the same safety rules as boaters.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/tips\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">GOT A TIP?<\/a><\/p>\n<p>According to the agency, safety rules for boaters include carrying a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/category\/us\/military\/coast-guard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket<\/a>, having a sound-producing device on board and using lights when visibility drops.
